BEFORE YOUR APPOINTMENT

  • no caffeine (coffee/tea). Your eyes will flutter uncontrollably!
  • arrive with 100% clean lashes. No make up / oil-based products on the eyes.
  • if you wear contacts, bring a contact case to place them in.
  • complete all water related tasks beforehand (showering, facials, etc.).

 

AFTER YOUR APPOINTMENT

  • do not get your lashes WET in the first 24 hours!
  • avoid excess exposure to humidity (hot showers, steam rooms, etc.) – too much moisture breaks down the bond of the adhesive.
  • no picking, pulling, rubbing or curling your lashes – this can cause permanent damage!
  • sleep on your back to avoid pressure / friction on the lashes from side sleeping.
  • no oil-based products on or around the eyes.
  • avoid waterproof or hard to remove eye makeup (wax/silicone-based).
  • do not put mascara on your lash extensions.

 

LASH CARE

  • brush your lashes daily. DO NOT brush lashes when wet.
  • cleanse your lashes often – rinsing with water daily and deep cleaning with lash foam cleanser every other day.
  • remove all eye makeup every night with oil-free micellar water make up remover + cotton pad around the eye, avoiding your lashes.

the longevity of the eyelash extensions varies from person to person depending on lifestyle, sleeping habits, cleanliness, lash care and more.

 

LASH BATH

  • mix 1 part baby shampoo + 8 parts distilled water into a foam pump bottle — shake.
  • do one eye at a time. Pump about a quarter size of the mixture onto a clean make up brush and gently clean lashes in a downwards swiping motion.
  • rinse thoroughly. Pat to dry. Brush lashes with clean spoolie.
  • cleansing is recommended daily.

 

WILL EYELASH EXTENSIONS RUIN MY NATURAL LASHES?

  • no, when applied correctly, eyelash extensions will not harm your natural lashes.
  • eyelash extensions are applied to each individual natural eyelash and will shed along with the natural growth cycle of your own lashes.
  • proper selection of eyelash extensions (thickness, length and quantity) is important to prevent premature shedding and damage to the lashes.
  • I will only apply eyelash extensions in the appropriate lengths and diameters suitable for the condition of your natural lashes.

 

EYELASH EXTENSIONS ARE NOT SUITABLE FOR YOU IF..

  • you are hypersensitive to and easily irritated by chemicals (eyelash extensions adhesive).
  • you have previously experienced eye infections or allergic reactions to eyelash extensions.
  • you constantly rub and touch your eyes.
